Uber Freight Partners With Tesla to Launch EV Truck Accelerator Program

Uber Freight has unveiled a pioneering partnership with Tesla to accelerate the adoption of electric trucks in the freight industry. The Dedicated EV Fleet Accelerator Program, announced at Deliver 2025, offers subsidies for Tesla's Class 8 Semi trucks, aiming to overcome barriers like high upfront costs and charging infrastructure gaps.

The program includes cost support, freight guarantees, and charging optimization to incentivize fleet operators. Tesla Semi mass production is slated for late 2025, with commercial deployment expected in 2026. This initiative marks Uber Freight's most ambitious sustainability push to date, targeting scalable decarbonization in logistics.
